For those of you who have a BIG problem pitting, especially under
pressure and around other cars.  Here's a way to practice pitting with
the AI cars without running 40-60 laps between pit stops.

You have to temporarly tweak the track.ini file of whatever track
you're practicing at.  Go into the tracks subdirectory and find the
track folder you're practicing at.  Open the track.ini file.  Once in
the track's ini file.  Edit the lines for the AI tire wear.  They look
something like this (numbers may vary):

ai_tire_wear_left = 0.59
ai_tire_wear_right = 0.67

Jack the numbers way up (I used 7.00 and the cars pitted every three
laps or so at Daytona in practice session).  You can put the original
number to the right of the semicolon (;) without altering the setting
so you don't forget it or write it down somewhere.

This raises the AI car's tire wear and forces them to pit more
frequently and gives you some practice pitting with them.

Once your done, make sure you change the track's ini file back to the
original settings.

Enjoy!
