N4 Pit "Rules"

N4 Pit "Rules"

Did some experimenting with pit rules today...

The Pit speed penalty seems to work okay (tho
you can briefly exceed 55 by a little bit {56} and
not get flagged)...

If your car drops below the solid white line which
denotes where everyone's pit stall is at speed, you'll
get flagged...

If you spin coming out of 4 and end up stopped on
the grass island, and try to pit, you'll get nailed with a
15 second hold penalty.  This happens even if you
barely coast to a stop at the very beginning of the grass,
and even tho you see cars do this all the time in NASCAR...

But you have to be really careful when you cross the
line at the end of pit road...apparently (did this
several times to confirm) if you exit using the inner
pit lane, you'll get flagged, even though there isn't
anything in the N4 manual about this, and even though
you see cars in NASCAR do this all the time w/o getting
flagged.  This happens during green stops w/o that guy
with the stop sign anywhere in sight.  I will have to try
it being adjacent to someone in the outside lane and
see if I still get penalized (you often see cars in NASCAR
exiting a*** like that trying to beat each other to the
start-finish but again I never see them flagged for it).
