Howdy ho, boys & girls,

Yes, the tracks are worth getting even if you don't have the Rendition versions
... they're just prettier, with a little more detail ... makes it  a little
easier to judge corners.

GPL - converting tracks

Hi again,

Something I forgot - can someone point me to where I can find
Dave Noonan's track converter?

Also, do I need to have rendition versions of the ICR tracks to
make it worthwhile? I only have the 'ordinary' version of
ICR2.

Can I d/l the rendition versions if necessary?

Are the converted tracks as good quality as the original GPL tracks?

THanks.
Nick

Go here http://www.theuspits.com/ and check under Parts Department-GPL for
that and just about anything else you want.  Someone else will have to tell
you about the converted tracks because I don't have any.

Find it here, along with MANY other goodies for Papy sims and others:
http://www.theuspits.com/

You don't "have" to have the rendition versions, however, once you've seen
them, you wouldn't want to go back. The graphics of the converted rendition
tracks aren't quite up to the standards of the original GPL tracks, but in
most cases, they are close, and certainly better than the plain ICR2 tracks.
Although, one question I have is, what's up with the Cleveland sky? It looks
like some kind of bizarre alien landscape<g>.

Not legally..... nudge, nudge...wink, wink...I bought a Rendition version of
CART Racing from the Sierra site for $9.99, it was delivered in 2 days.

See above

NB: Other GPL sites you should check out:

the rendition tracks.

You're welcome<g>
