The full converter has never been released by Noonan. Which leds me to
believe that Sierra/Papyrus put a stop to it.

You need a better lead Joel :-)

Geoff....er, David N will release his converter when he feels that it's
ready, and he won't give a time frame either, understandably enough

I hope you're right. I fear you're not.

Goy is correct, as he runs the Norway Mirror for The Pits...David Noonan is
working on the converters, and they will be released WHEN he is satisfied
that there are no more bugs (or at least not many) to be worked out.

As far as the grip comment in the first place.

Grip on the tracks is editable in 2 places...the txt files, and the .trk
file that is wrapped up in the .dat file of the track.  NASCAR tracks run a
fair amount of grip in the .trk file (we changed it for our dirt track

.dat using the converter, the grip remains the same.  So, I would think that
Thorsten is correct.  However, I've not bothered to compare the two, I'm
just guessing...

Cheers!

If true, just another indication Sierra is shitting on GPL.

Jan, maybe you could put the question to Dave Noonan
if you find the time?
Btw. with the grip value stored in the .trk file
it should really help doing a rain patch :)
