GPL Wheel Calibration in Windows 2000??

by Jenera » Mon, 20 May 2002 10:06:35

I recently replaced my mainboard from an SIS 735 chipset to a Via KT266a (a
buddy gave me an offer too good to pass up). This necessitated re-installing
the OS. Using the SIS board everything was fine in GPL. Now, I can't get the
wheel ( a MSFF USB) to calibrate properly in GPL. All my other games (N4,
NH, NFS5, Viper Racing, etc...) have no problem but GPL won't calibrate. The
pedals calibrate but the wheel reports one range as 13000 and the other as
0! I've tried re-installing GPL and the MS software with identical results.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Jeneral

Have you tried BOTH methods of joystick calibration in GPL?  There's a
direct X box and a Papyrus optimized box.  Try both.  One may work.
