Windows 98 several times a day and already know that Windows NT is not possible
with GPL. Linux/vmware would be an even better choice for me, but I also know
that doesn't work.

BTW: are you still using a CD-Rom drive that's not recognised by your
mainboard at boot-up? -I've had some trouble with those and Win98 lately.
Modern IDE 24x CD-Rom's are cheap and cheery at the moment, so there's no
reason not to own one (and have fewer headaches along the way).

I have an Acer 40x CDROM, UDMA mode, and no problems with detection in Windows
95, 98, NT4, 2000 or Linux.
