Logitech WFF (USB) and Live Value sound card installed, no problems.
When I run diquick.exe (part of Windows DirectX SDK) the wheel on X axis moves
from almost 0 (1151) to almost 65535 (64319), as it should. Both the gas and
brake move from 0 to 65535 exactly, on the Y and Rz axes respectively. The force
feedback is working, tested by running joyffeed.exe.
Here is the problem. Inside the GPL 1.1 DirectInput calibration menu, full right
on the the wheel goes to about 1900, and a little left of center the raw value
goes negative and the axis stops responding to wheel movement. Both the gas and
brake are no problem, calibrating from 0 to 255. The generic driver is reported
by GPL to not be available under Windows NT.
Rats. So near and yet so far. Any words of wisdom on how to get beyond the wheel
calibration problem? Presumably the NT 4.0 users have not had this problem, or
maybe they have and found a fix?
TIA,
Keith.
