Has anyone gotten Grand Prix Legends to work under Windows 2000?  I am
running RC2 (build 2151) and it installs fine, but it always complains about
not finding "redline.dll", even though I selected 3dfx during install.

If I go to Options and change it to 3dfx, it says the game needs to be
restarted.  I restart it and get the same message (video is set back to
software).

I am running a V3-2000.

Thanks!

It sounds like your Voodoo3 drivers are either not fully Win2000
compatible or are not installed properly.  GPL tries running in Glide
and for some reason can't at which point it then tries RRedline.

You might try the drivers found here:

TNT card in OpenGL. Looks like the Win2K 3dfx drivers are not up to***yet,
otherwise GPL runs fine.

I installed drivers from there, when I go to Voodoo3 properties from the
display/advanced menu, it shows Glide being installed, but not Direct3D or
OpenGL.

I just reinstalled GPL (cleaned out registry and dirs first).   Then applied
the 1.1.0.3 patch.   When I start it I get the 3dfx swirl, then for a brief
second I get the GPL title page and then dropped back to the desktop.
