I have that wheel and am in  need of some advice.

(GPL)
I can run on a track for about 10 mins till I lose all steering and the
pedals,  as soon as I exit and come back in the pits it works again,  or I
unplug the pedals and put it back in and it works as well.

ITs the USB wheel with vers 4 software installed.

This sounds like it could be either a problem with your USB port or a
problem with the wheel itself. You should contact Microsoft Support and see
about getting a new wheel.

Is the USB port integrated into the MoBo or is it a separate card? If it's a
separate card, you may try re-seating it.
