Which Wheel & Pedal Combo to Use?

by Jason Wine » Wed, 26 Nov 1997 04:00:00

Which is the best wheel and pedal combo out there
for roughly under $150. I primarily plan to use
it with CART PR. The Thrustmaster Grand Prix 1
looks decent, but lacks pedals. How about the
new CH Products Racing System? What about the
new ACT Labs RS wheel and pedal combo?

Thanks in advance.

Which Wheel & Pedal Combo to Use?

I recently bought the Nascar Pro by Thrustmaster for about $130 and
generally  pleased with it.  The wheel is very good, has seperate shifter
and buttons on the wheel.  The pedals are angled a little akward and you
have to secure the base from tilting and sliding, but they feel realistic.
For sim games realistic may not always be the best though and my CH pedals
are much less tiresome to use although they don't look and feel anything
like real pedals. HTH
