I went inside mine and worked some light grease into the bushings though a
dry graphite compound would probably be better. There is a lot of slop in
those bushings though. I'm going to check out the ball bearing conversion .
BTW : to get into the wheel pop the hub cover off to gain access to the hub
nut. Disconnect the gang connector from mini board in hub, remove hub nut
and keeper. Pull wheel off making sure that gang connector doesn't snag.
Turn wheel unit over and remove the 6 silver headed screws ( the black ones
can be left undisturbed). Slide upper cover off over wheel shaft and there
you are.
