I was unaware of this. If Papy are now stuck doing N(Year(Now)+1) because
that is what brings in the moolay, then surely they could employee a few
more people, to take the previous version of their engine, and convert it to
a series such as open-wheel (insert here which formulae).
I was always sure that I read Papy were developing an engine purely so
"values could be plugged in" and wallah, any form of racing could be quickly
created. i guess it didnt end up quite that versatile. i mean, if by the
time N2003 comes along, or just before, papy release a Cart sim based on
N2002 core engine, that would instantly become the best selling Cart/open
wheel sim even tho technolgy wise it were just about to be superceded in
N2003. heck I mean some people still enjoy ICR2, had an ICR3 come out after
N3... loads more would still be playing ICR3?
get me driftin' ? c'mon papy, if it aint cost effective or whatever, just be
nice to know why and what your plans are of late.
