Howdy Papy fellows,

One of the 2 times I was able to get on I didn't actually do any
racing for a couple of minutes because I was either waiting for
more racers, all races had begun or nobody wanted to join me
in a race at Watkins Glenn ( you're all whimps :) ) so I disconnected.
When I'm paying LD tolls I want to be racing and not just sitting
around waiting.

How about letting someone who has not made the start of a race join in
a pick-up race that has just begun or is at least only 30-40% done.
That person could start off in their pit and procede from there. It
would make it more interresting for the folks who start out with a small
number of racers in the race and I wouldn't be sitting around with
nothing to do while waiting. Maybe flash a warning to me in the middle of
the race I joined saying the race I am waiting for is about to start and
make a pit stop NOW to join that race. Of course skill levels would
apply to what race I could join temporarily. OR how about something like a
practice track for everyone who is waiting, we could practice with others
who are also waiting.

Would you prefer we mail hawaii_help with suggestions or post them here?

Hope that damn "error timed out" message doesn't appear tonight when I
try to connect like it has for the past week for me :-(

Honestly, we already have enough crashes occurring from people getting
into the start of a race.  If we let people in after the race has
already begun, it will just introduce more accidents.

When the service is live, it wil have much greater capacity, so sitting
around for a minute or so will be a thing of the past.
