Yeah, c'mon, drop this door to door, fender rubbing exciting stuff.  We want
really fast cars that do hot lap after hot lap with no passing.  What are
you waiting on papy?  The market for it is so big.  Can't you see.   There
are so many more Open wheel fans in this country than nascar fans.  Get real
pal.

Why?  Would you rather drivers not learn to run clean lines?

Yes, we can always dream :)

But hey, don't we have Icr2 now? Since CART cars now use anti-wheel spin
techniques, Icr2 is pretty realistic except for wheel locking!

Sierra made them do the exact opposite not long ago.  They cut back on their
staff at Papyrus and kicked out many people, probably (speculatively)
working on secondary projects.

The value of money is unfortunately more valuable to survive than the value
of the pleasures of the world. :(

That's what testing sessions are for.

There should be a "swift kick to the testes" button for people who try
and learn tracks online.

Actually, you can't watch Nascar at all in this country. Plenty of F1
coverage, though. I think the fan base is similar.

Nah. The word on the streets is that they are doing great progress in
developing yet another left turn. Besides, it is cheaper than doing right
handers all of the time, too.

I agree but I'd rather have a guy trying to run the proper line than one
that doesn't.

NR2003.  I have no illusions there will be anything less, or anything more.
I think the wishes for an Open-Wheel from them are pretty much dead :(

And that's a damned shame, because the have the technology to do it better
than anyone else.

I watched both the Cart and IRL races yesterday.  I thought the CART race
was more interesting, to a certain degree, mainly because there was no way
to tell what sort of foolishness was going to happen next.

I thought that one dude was going to bean that rookie right on the head with
his helmet :)

Then, the Rookie who caused the wreck gets "Evicted" from the race for
making a mistake?

CART is a tough crowd.

Oh, and let's not forget the "We'll modify the rules and punish someone,
even after they asked about it just before the race" rule making.

Overall, I found the IRL race more enjoyable.

Does Indy Car Racing 2 run under Windows XP ?

Yeah, I use it at little raced tracks, like Road Courses or ovals that are
new to me.  Mainly for the braking points.

That was funny as hell.  I was just waiting to see Bruno pull him out of
the car & whoop him.  I don't blame him, under those circumstances I'd
be pretty pissed too.

It was quite a stupid mistake that could have gotten others seriously
injured.  It's not the first time he's pulled this kind of stunt either.
Listening to Pat Patrick's comments, he may not have a job as a driver
too much longer.
