The sound works fine in***pit mode but when I switch to any other views I
lose the engine sounds..
Any ideas??
Thanks, Timmy

Well, he gave you his honest opinion...<g>

The sound *totally* disappears in other views?  I ask because I know the sound
CHANGES when you go to kite-flying view.  Have you tried re-installing?  Maybe
you just have a corrupted sound file.  Or, you could have the number of sounds
turned down in your settings.

Sound Problem in n2003

I had a similar problem after my first install of this sim but now it seems
to have gone away.  Anyway, the way around it is after you load up the track
and you have no engine sound, bring up the menu and go into options -> audio
and either check or uncheck the 3d sound box.  Then go back to the game and
the sound should be there.  Sorry if those navigation instructions are not
entirely accurate....just writing this off of memory!    I had to do this
everytime I started NR2003 but for some reason it just went away after
awhile.  Good luck.
