anyone using the vortex sound cards? monster sound m300 I think, n2003 has
slowed to about 7 fps twice and when I exit the game there is no sound.The
sound also stops in the game when it slows,any ideas?

Well I had brain fade the card is a monster m300 using the aureal drivers

My Falcon NW Mach 4 that I bought 4 years or so ago came with that
soundcard.  It also came with an Athlon 700mhz
