I see you were able to exploit the unrealistic damage model Tim. :)

We went 72 continuous laps under green at one point.

Yeah, saw that in the replay John.
I knew the car felt really tight after damage but I didn't know it was because they took the whole hood off lol.
And that long run really helped me save my tires as well.

Even though I got discoe'd with about 18 laps remaining I had a good
time. Those 72 laps were fun. Even moving over and letting guys by
was, well, kinda fun.
Does anyone know how many continuous green laps we've done in each
race? We need a stats page.

That 72 lap run killed some of us.  I had not pitted the whole race
and finally had to pit under green when I ran out of gas (as did
several others).  I have not had any luck the last 3 races.  No one to
blame but myself, just the wrong gamble on my part.

After running behind Tim in practice I figured the ONLY way I was
going to be able to beat him was through pit strategy.  My goal was to
try and keep track postition for most of the race in order not to get
caught up in any wrecks and to get off pit sequence with Tim and
anyone else that was running good and hopefully get down to the end
with relatively good track position and much fresher tires.  If just
one of you guys could have self spun on about lap 70 of the 72 lap
green run it sure woulda helped me out.

Anyway, the fastest guy won so I guess it worked out the way it was
supposed to.  Congrats again to Tim.

Ya, much better than the busch race.  But watching the cup race, it
pretty much mirrored our race.  Lots of cautions at the beggining with
a long green run at the end.

Notice how f**ken quiet this RASCAR race thread is. :-) Just like always.
When we have a good race, it gets conveniently overlooked by critics.
