LOL, most of the discussion held here would be better held on the actual
forum

Yes, and I deliberately do not post it here. I'm not giving RAS the
satisfaction of sniping from the sidelines easily.

The races and how they run are the business of 20-odd people facing off
against eachother, not of the hundreds that sit on their arses and think
they're superior because they're not moved by the things they do.

That's the problem - It really *shouldn't* be...

Hey, I race 42 other AI drivers and I kick their butts day in and day out!
Don't try and tell me that measly "humans" can do better.  HAHAHAHA!   The
joke's on YOU pal!

Eldred, I beg to disagree.

We've reiterated time and time again the right of RASCAR to do all their
posting here and I've always supported you guys in this because RASCAR and
r.a.s. is the same. RASCAR is the racing event for people in r.a.s.

There should. IMHO, AAMOF not be another forum, there should be no necessity
for anyone participating in RASCAR to read anything else but r.a.s. to know
everything he wants to know about RASCAR and the events.

Maybe, but having discussions here causes a whole host of problems.  From
adding bandwidth for people who aren't interested, to airing dirty laundry, to
people(non-participants) taking potshots.

In theory, I agree.  In practice, it might not be worth it anymore...

I totally agree. By moving the chat away from here you are simply saying
RASCAR only belongs to the drivers, and not the fans. :)

I watch all the races, btw, so I'm a fan. :)

I can think of a couple other nouns that are more appropriate... ;-)

But you also got honest opinions from people without axes to grind.

Come mate, a couple of cry babies throw their toys out the pram and it
all goes***up?

I understand your concerns Eldred, although IMHO, they're an integral part
of the nature of RASCAR.

I think you weren't referring to me when you said 'potshots', but I'd like
to assure you that my intention, however vain that may have been, was solely
to contribute my experience regarding the issue in question (clean driving).

Where as I on the other hand didn't feel like contributing anything
useful this time (either) and my comments can rightfully be interpreted
as sniping

I think it should be done here, because I download all the newsgroup posts
and read them offline. It's easier. So there.
