Well, it took a few laps to get used to this new steering setup, I am
running 57.2 on an average, fast lap so far was 56.60x.  Turn three is very
easy to misjudge and you better catch it fast or your going for a ride.  Not
too hard to stay out of the infield fence and bring it around.  Hopefully
these won't cause caution flags for us as you can get back on track easily
without losing a lap if you do hit anything or too hard.

Last race here I was shifting up to fourth going into three and ended up
spinning when I accidentally double shifted into second and killed my motor.
So this time I am only shifting down the main straight right at the
start/finish line, then back to third in 1.  I ran a little bit online but
was still not comfortable with the steering setup to really judge it.  I am
pretty sure I am slow going into 1 and 2, 3 about right, but that is
allowing a good exit speed and if I don't lose the position into the corner
then I lead off into the next.   Pretty confident here so far. knock on
wood, fingers crossed, kissing rabbits foot and praying to Papy  :-)

I'm running 55.6xx average, my best was 54.945. This is by myself. I ran a
race with 25 cars, 95%. I can't drive in traffic, seems I can't contol the
car around other cars. Need more practice I guess. The car seems harder to
handle if I'm not running up to speed around traffic.

54.6 here...

If I was not handicapped, I'm sure I could at least match my time at
the previous pocono event of 54.2

That's what happens when you qualify so far up in the order.  I don't have that
problem... :-/

Sorry about the double post.  Have been having problems seeing posts going
through giganews.  raised a little hell at comcast the other day and now I
get double posts :-(  Oh, well.  Made things even worse by screwing my whole
OS trying to make it setup a network....Don't ask.  Anyway, spent all day
today trying to format and reload XP.  Yes, it was that bad, long story and
a bad bios, but I can get it to run XP.   Now I have a nice shiney (like)
new hd and smoothing out the edges  :-)  I hope it will run NR2K3 faster!
I raced Pocono online a couple of times and done some offline.  You really
can't be shy on the gas here in the exits of the corners.  That is the only
way I can find to take any speed through the corners.  Kind of have to work
with the loose condition and ride it too the walls.  I will try and keep
this under control Saturday during the race.  There is a tendancy for
loosing it in the exit of two for some reason.  That does seem to be where
you have to steer more with the gas.
Anyway, got NG's back, time to go get some car files and get them moved in.
Will try to run some laps tonite if anyone is still up or around.
