In GPL is the maximum framrate 36-37 fps?
I have a Celeron 300a o/c'd to 450 and 128 MB Ram and a 16Mb Banshee Card, I
always get around 36-37 fps.

It's 36.  You probably think you're seeing 36.9 when it flickers between
36.0 and 35.9.

I have a PII 400, 2 8meg monster ll in SLI mode, my primary card is a Viper
330 and 256 megs of ram.  I run a clean background with no other functions
running.  In 1024 x 768 I get 36 to 37 frames per second.  I have heard
rumors of machines that hit 40 fps, my suspicion is that the kid was lying.
You need a minimum of 30 fps to play on a modem.  A friend plays on a cable
modem with me and gets only 25 fps.

If the game runs with out getting framy then who cares what the fps is?

Don't get caught up in the pissing match, someone can always pee higher.

Greetings,

I think so yes.
I have a PII 233 running at 262.5 (3.5 x 75) with 128 Mb, Ultra Wide SCSI
harddisk and an 8 Mb Voodoo II board but even when I put all details off (I
just wanted to see how it looks) it doesn't get above 37 fps.

According to a Sierra moderator over at Sierra's motorsports forum, the
design limit for GPL is 36.95 fps.
