Force Feedback (FF).  Yes or No?  At Ferraro Design we would appreciate your
opinion!  Does the Sim racer use it, or turn it off and suffer due to the
lack of effective spring return?  We have manufactured over 1000 quality
steel units without FF technology and are unsure about the racing sim
fanatics feelings towards it.

Our current product, the Advantage 1, only comes in the non-FF flavour.  We
would like to know whether a plastic FF unit or a well-balanced durable
design makes a great wheel.

Your replies would be greatly appreciated.

In Viper Racing, I think the FF is an advantage. It really gives you
the feel for what the car is doing, oversteer, understeer, etc.. At
least thats the case with the Act Labs Wheel.

I think it is far far more important that you redesign to allow  the
accelerator and brake pedals to be set up on independent axis.

Personally I won't even consider your wheel until it includes this
capability as standard,  AND can be connected via USB rather than
soundcard/gameport.

FF is not an issue for me.

I would much prefer to but an Australian-made wheel, but unless the
two things mentioned above are included, or the price drops by at
least half, no way.

Cheers

Alan.
