thrustmaster Force Feedback GT Racing Wheel FF trouble

Hi all nascar racers, and you others as well :p

Just wondered if any of you have had the problem with the FF turning itself
off during a race? It's ***y annoying, cause the PC hangs for a second and
then continues smothly, but then of course I swerve all over - any
suggestions to remedy this?

Best regards
Amund

Buy a better wheel...and yes I can say that since I paid more than my share
of money to thrustmaster over the years for wheels that broke over and over.

I've been banging on about that exact problem for some time now both in this
ng and to Thrustmaster.  It's totally infuriating, and it happens with every
sim. Works OK for a while then freeze for a few seconds and then then no ff.
I've had my wheel changed twice by TM but of course that made no difference.
It must be down to the drivers, but no-one there seems to want to listen.
ho hum...... if you find a solution, then let me know!

Jesus - it's damn f***ed up to see other peeps with that same prob. In my
opnion the wheel in itself is just excellent, but if this is a drive prob,
then dang man.
Installed the newest drivers today but have not tested them yet - god damn
this shit is infuriating - the wheel is SO good but I just can't live with
that shit...

Any other experiences?

thrustmaster Force Feedback GT Racing Wheel FF trouble

In a recent GTR2002 race, I experience a sharp pull to the left coming out
of the Spa bus-stop chicance and lost the FF, but I figured it was a broken
suspension because the car just didn't work well after that ;-)

I'm not sure it's the wheel's problem.  If you the exit the game, then go
into the Game Controllers panel and test the FF, does it work?  If it does.
I'd say it's the game's fault.

Jason.

It's not the game's fault. It happens with every sim - N2002, F1 2002, TIR,
GP4, etc. etc. It's definitely the wheel drivers.

I've had it happen with the Guillemot Ferrari, the TM Ferrari, the Force RS
and the LWFF. If it does it with one wheel, it does it with the others. When
it clears itself up (and it does for some unknown reason from time to time),
all the wheels work again. I wonder if it's something with iForce.

It's never happened to me using either my old LWFF or the Momo Force.

It doesn't happen to everyone.

Does that mean it's never happened to you at all, or that it's happened to
you with other wheels but not those two?
