I  have a thrustmaster force feedback racing wheel. I don't have an original
driver CD, so instead I use drivers  that I downloaded from the TM site :
FFBRW_98Me2KXP,DFFBRWU-2K-216. My computer starts the new hardware found
wizard whenever I plug in the device and recognizes it as a USB device but
when I try to install the driver I get amessage that windows found a driver
thet is a closer match to my hardware and installs a default windowsdriver
for usb devices, so I can't get it to work
Any help will be appreciated

Try this:
    - Uninstall the drivers
    - run "CleanW.exe" from within the "Ferrari Force Feedback Wheel" folder
    - Re-install the drivers

Apparently "CleanW.exe" removes all traces of previous or corrupted drivers
(even if you use the 'uninstall' feature) and should be run each time before
you upgrade the drivers.

Hope this helps.
Krunch.

I think you need to use 2.3.6 (or whatever the latest version is), I had the
a similar problem with 2.1.6.
You then click "install other driver" when windows thinks it found a better
match, and you will see a list of drivers, including the 2.3.6 version that
you just pointed to in the update driver process (win2k, probably winxp).
Cheers
