by WINWAL » Mon, 28 Apr 1997 04:00:00

I think the reason that their is some with prob's with steering and others
with gas & brk is that some are useing the adaptor & some not.
when posting please let us know if you have adaptor and what ver patch
you used also which ver of win95.  This way we hopefully can find a comman
thread to the problem.

T2 AND N2 patch ??

by Mark » Mon, 28 Apr 1997 04:00:00

I have the blue plated ver of t-2. The connector on. Ver 1.00 patch. Win95
version T-2 works fine until patch comes out. When it came, it totally
messed up all the steering. If you take off the adpater, can't use N2 in
win95, any program in 95, and some dos programs.

T2 AND N2 patch ??

TM T2 Blue plate with connector. Ver 1.0 patch. (verified, x-checked
correct patch for my ver of N2). Win95b (OSR2). I play N2 in an
*exclusive* (DOS 7.1) real mode session. It makes no difference
whether I start a single virtual DOS mode session from boot, or
restart DOS from Win95. Joystick has been correctly configured and
calibrated in Win95.

Hardware is 32Mb Mitsubisi (Japanese) 60ns EDO DRAM, Intel P5-133
(late stepping), on Intel HX (late stepping) based motherboard running
512k L2 SMT PBC. Video is Rendition Verite`(Intergraph Reactor 3D)
with latest Win95 BIOS flash upgrade. Board has PCI video DMA
(82Mb/sec I/O DMAtest) access. N2 ran like the proverbial Swiss watch,
as did Indycar, both in Verite` mode and 2D mode prior to the patch
?mprovements'. 8)

Not a PC gumbie. Hardware and software literate. The calibration
problem/s exists other than as a figment of overactive imagination
after Sierra/Papyrus patch install.

Please take note, test and rework the patch Sierra.
