HELP: GP2 Carsets - Problem with relative car performance.

Hello...

First, I must congratulate all those who make GP2 more up-to-date with the
carsets,***pits, etc. It is really a wonderful extension to an awesome
simulator!

However, I have tried on a number of occasions to get the carsets to work
correctly on my system - Unsuccessfully.

The basic problem is that the Stewarts and Minardis are at the front of the
grid, and Hill is in the top 4 to start with. When Barichello and Trulli are
on the front row, and the Arrows is right up there... well, you know that
there is something amiss.

I obtained the latest 97 carset, made the appropriate directory, ran the
97.bat utility, and had my files updated. I tried to run the sim, did a quick
race, then a non-champ race, and they always yield the same grid, with the
underperforming cars upfront (that is, in reality).

I tried to load the quick race file that accompanies the set; which if I
understand, should reset all the cars and drivers to the new settings. No luck
there either....

What is going on?

Thanks,

Ralph Schwarz
