GP2 Carset 4.0 Helmets problem

I've downloaded the 1996 Carset 4.0 from Pieter's homepage.
It should change everything in the game to match the 1996 season, but
I can't get the helmets in the right place, e.g. I get Shumacher
driving with Hill's Helmet. What have I done wrong? Is it a known bug?

Did you by any chance change the names. If so that's the problem!

I guess you mean that the helmets in the menu do not match.
That's right. It not possible to adjust this yet.
But if you start a race, you will see the helmets are on the heads
they are meant to be.

Isn't ANYONE working on this yet?

This is more important than a nose editor, IMHO.

BTW There is editor which can change nose cone.

Try GP2 Forum - GP2editor v1.1 from Jedrus.

Yes. And I expect it to be available soon.

Why?
I prefer to race then watching the menu's. :-)

 Why don't you pick a damned BMP editor and cut and paste

the helmets in the right way? :-)
