Good cheap wheel/pedal combo?

Good cheap wheel/pedal combo?

Well, my old Thrustmasters (a Formula T-1 and GP1...yes, THAT old) are in
even worse shape than I remember them being when I first put them in the
closet after I picked up a Logitech FF wheel...which I love...but I need a
second wheel for a second computer, and ideally, a cheap wheel.  I don't
think those Thrustmasters can take another repair, and there's been lots.

How much does the non-force-feedback Logitech wheel cost?

I should also add the Saitek J11 wheel at BestBuy in to the list of
'considered' - I'd spend almost as much as that costs just getting my old
GP1 back to the shape I want a wheel in.

I got the non-force feedback Logitech Wingman Formula GP (yellow) and it
works great... I got mine at Radio Shack for $90 canadian, so I assume it
would go for around $50 US..

Justdeals.com has a refurb Wingman Formula GP for $25.77:

I have this wheel and it's great. It doesn't feel quite as rugged as my
old Thrustmaster 2, but it's a good wheel for the money.

But does ANYTHING feel as rugged as the old Thrustmaster T1 and T2? =)

At least when they were new, that is...both my T1 and GP1 are just too worn
out (slop EVERYWHERE) to really bother fixing again.  They both have the
bungee steering, which feels great for a while, then it starts going...I
managed to avoid most of the broken pedal springs by installing a high-tech
pedal travel limiter...er... a 1 inch by 1 inch by 3 inch block of wood
bolted to the back of the pedal assembly... ;)

Oooo, that refurbed Logi looks like a good deal! Thanks!

Whoa....and then I checked pricewatch.com because I remembered they're
pretty consistent advertisers there...

$16 for the non-force, and $34 for the Force Feedback, as long as you phone
the order in...!!!!!

The plot thickens...

Wow...not bad at all. We bought my brother in law a FF Wingman from
Justdeals for $48, which was a good price. I may just have to get one for
$34. Thanks!

Yeah, really.  Nice kicker is that it's compatible with the Playstation 2 as
well, as long as it's the USB one. =)

Ooo, man, then my brother and I could finally have our races in GT3 with
both of us using Logi FF wheels...heh...we got one of the GT3 edition wheels
the day after GT3 came out...we got GT3 the day it came out, then realized,
we've gotta have a wheel for this game. ;)

How was the experience with justdeals.com?  They didn't score terribly well
on www.resellerratings.com, which makes me a bit nervous...but wow, $34...I
am -so- tempted...

Nice thing is a wheel like this is a lot less failure-prone than
motherboards and things of that nature, and rating sites like that might get
skewed a bit low if anything...kinda like the ECS newsgroup, the K7S5A looks
kinda bad just because nobody ever posts when they get a setup that works.
;)

I've ordered from them twice and had no problems at all either time.
