Crashes with GP3 & GPL w/TNT2 Help!

by Vaughn & Melinda Arthu » Wed, 13 Jun 2001 08:10:14

Hello:
After a simulator hiatus I am trying to get back into the drivers seat.
But I have a few problems that make it difficult.

Months ago I started getting crashes after re-installing GPL and since then
I have purchased GP3 and I am also having numerous problems.
In GPL I will get random exits to the desktop without warning.. In GP3 I
will get the same problem as well as a situation where I will be driving
along and the car will just go crazy like I hit an object on the track
although nothing was there.

I downloaded the latest detonator drivers and all of the patches that I
could find for both of the programs....

    System:
        Windows98 SE
        DirectX 8.0
        Dell XPS-T600R 128 Meg Ram
        TNT2 w/32 Megs
        Turtle Beach Montego II
NetGear FA310TX ethernet card hooked up to cable modem  (I want my
VROC back)

Thanks in advance..
        Vaughn

Try going back to older versions of the etonator drivers. From memory,
I think I am using 3.68 with very few problems -- a little flashing
sometimes when I am looking at the menu after pitting, but never while
driving.
