F1 2001 + Win XP split axis problem

I have a BRD a cannot get F1 2001 to recognize my brake pedalwhen using my
wheel with split axis under Win XP, I dont want to go back to Win 98, N4 and
GPL work fine, does anybody know of a fix/workaround for this?

I have a tsw and must use in combined or same axis mode. split axis is a
problem with this game IMO

  Are you guys having problems with split axis, holding down your pedals at
least half way when you boot F1???  it's an old SCGT gimmick...worked there
and in 2k...

I'm having the same problem with my ECCI wheel/pedal system under Win98. The
steering works but not the pedals. Sometimes they work but are reversed, most
times I have no throttle at all. The games got a BIG BUG.

F1 2001 + Win XP split axis problem

I have no problem with Logitech Wingman FF, but have that problem with
my CH Virtual Pilot Pro and Pro Pedals. But: when I calibrate as 2
joysticks on 2 axes it works. ALthough calibrating the pedals is a
pain, as the rest-position gives random readings under XP (not with
win ME where i CAN use the CH VPP files).

F1 2001 + Win XP split axis problem

My ECCI CDS 4000 works fine in split axis mode.  F1 2001 has a problem with
the clutch pedal though so I don't use that.  What I do is short calibrate
the pedals in Windows 98 so that they don't overlap in any way in the game.
