I cant get split axes on my MSFF in Windows XP, works fine in Win me.
I have not installed the Sidewinder software in neither OS. Any else got
similar (solved) problem?

Not exactly, but I had to reinstall my MSFF software before I could
get the Win98-style Sidewinder Control Panel to come up (or calibrate
properly).

However, even after that, the ability to program buttons is not
available in Windows XP (or Windows 2000, I hear) for the MSFF or MS
FF2 joystick. Not impressed.

The 4.0 software for the USB MSFFW works just dandy under Windows XP.
Ignore the warning the installer gives.

You will not get split axis without it.

If you have a Gameport version of the wheel or the 3.02 software, there's
nothing you can do.
