Supposed to be much smoother in opengl, so perhaps that's an option again
for GPL.

Just tried them with iL2 FB in OpenGL and it does run much smoother.
I'll try GPL tomorrow.

Whatever other changes there might be there is this from the release notes

"Playing the game Nascar Racing 2003 in OpenGL mode no longer results in the
display going black"

Yup, they seem to improve all my sims quite noticeable

I just tried it, and while definitely improved, speed-wise it's still
behind D3D.  I get 24fps at the rear of a full-field start, while with D3D I
get 30fps.

What's the CPU/MEM/OS used?

2.4ghz athlon/512/XP/1280x1024/2xfsaa/8xaa.  It also looks like the
fsaa/aa settings aren't being applied properly in ogl, though I didn't do
any a-b testing.

You did better than me, I couldn't even get GPL to run in OpenGL! IL-2
worked but was unstable. Same with Nascar2k3.

So it's back to jolly ol' D3D for me!

FSAA and AF are still broken in multi-monitor situations. :(

I can't get FS2k2 to run in hardware mode! Anyone else having the same
trouble?
