Well, I've joined the ranks of GPL nuts...

I just installed the game selecting 3Dfx for my video card.  I have a
Creative Labs 3D Blaster Voodoo2 12MB.  The game brought up the menu
screen then took me right to the screen where you enter your name, etc.  I
started typing and the game froze.

I un-installed and then re-installed selecting Software and it works fine;
no freezing.

Why doesn't GPL like my Voodoo2?  Is there a patch for this problem?  I'd
love to play this game in 3Dfx!

Any info appreciated.

most issues with voodoo2 are overheating, but when it freezes almost
immediately, this is most likely not the issue ... did you install
directx7a and latest drivers for 3dfx?  what hardware do you use? does
each pci/isa-card use a seperate IRQ?
