Actlabs Force & GPL-settings

Hi!
I must say that I am a bit jellous on you LWFF owners. You have so much
info on how to set up your FF-settings for GPL. Is there anyone who has
any suggestions for good settings for my actlab wheel? Please let me
know!
The settings I am talking about is of course the ones in core.ini but
also the general settings for the wheel in windows (coming with the
drivers).
I am guessing that these settings are somewhat related to my other type
of hardware so here it comes:
266MHz P2, 64 RAM, Voodoo2, serial connected Actlabs Force RS

Cheers
Roger Andersson

I'm using the same settings that Alison Hine wrote she uses with her LWFF.
Seems to work pretty good with the RS.

Roger, here are my settings for the Act Labs Force RS:

allow_force_feedback = 1        ; Use FF if device has it

force_feedback_damping = 40.00  ; force feedback damping coefficient
force_feedback_latency = 0.10   ; force feedback latency (secs)
max_steering_torque = 230.00    ; steering torque giving max device force

Not too overpowering so that you can feel the subtle changes.  Let me
know what you think if you try them.

Great, thanks. My computer is on repair now but as soon as I get it back
I will try your settings and let you know what I think.
