Can someone suggest what force feedback settings they are using in the
core.ini file for the Force RS.

Thanks,

John D.

From your post, it seems you don't know about Riccardo Nunnini (sp?)
site. Check out...

http://website.lineone.net/~richardn/

It's got heaps more info than just the FF settings, and lots of great
setups (esp Lotus).

As for the FF info....

How do you set the force feedback variables in /sierra/gpl/core.ini?

Giovanni 'drive it like you stole it' Tifosi recommends the following
for the ACT LABS wheel:

                                    [ Hack ]
                                    steer_ratio = 0

                                    [ Joy ]
                                    allow_force_feedback = 1
                                    force_feedback_damping =093.000000
                                    force_feedback_latency = 0.000005
                                    max_steering_torque = 75.000000

Hope this helps -
force_feedback_damping = 40.000000 ; force feedback damping coefficient
     force_feedback_latency = 0.000000  ; force feedback latency (secs)
     max_steering_torque = 180.000000   ; steering torque giving max
device force
