Hi guys
I just purchased a actlabs' force rs and recived it today.
despite many of your opinon on the pedals  they are very sticky and
impossible for me to use them for GPL
Will they losen up? if so how long would it take?
also please post your core.ini setting and gain setting

The Act Labs pedals will losen up. In the mean time, try lubricating the
pedal levers where they rub against the base. Vasoline should work fine.

Hello,

Yes, the pedals will loosen up.  Unfortunately, to 'naturally' do so
took a few weeks on my end.  Or the equivalent of 1 lap around the
'ring' for me in GPL  <VBG> ;)

You can also try using a very small amount of non-spray lithium grease
if you have access to some.

I don't have access to my core.ini or anything at the moment, but I am
using the setting of 100 for the FF effect and I have my Force RS set
with "40" in the 'spring' setup and the 'always use' box checked.
Just my personal preference.

Good luck.

Hello,
I was going to answer this one, but it looks like the other fellas
have done a good enough job.  They should work in tech support here.
:)
My pedals werer fine, but I have heard  of people using a bit of white
grease to great success.

I filed the slots down, and they don't rub on the bracket anymore.
However... Act Labs wheel owners should be made VERY aware that to do
this... you will have to remove the *** pads on the bottom of the
controller to access the screws that hold the top in place. When you do
this... you will negate your warrantee on the pedal unit... so before you
run out to the shed like a mad man.... keep the warrantee issue in mind.
