NFS:PU FF tips

So I broke down and picked up this game today (F1 2000 was no where in
sight) and at first play it seems a little arcadey - especially the force
feedback.  I'm really spoiled by GPL and did not realize how much I depend
on this extra information.  The default setup is ridiculous and the
instructions for tweaking it are non-existent but I think I figured it out.
Here are my settings.  I use a Logitech FF Wheel, btw.

Stick Volume - 80   ;this seems to control overall effects
Road Effects - 30  ;this is for the shake you get when cross a wooden
bridge, etc.
Collision - 100 ; self-explanatory
Engine - 0  ; this is to feel the engine vibrating - mimics shot wheel
bearings and out of balance tires extremely well, but worthless for this
game.
Road Grip - 100  ;this is the important one - steering feel

With these settings, suddenly the game isn't too arcadey anymore and much
more satisfying so far.  Why  EA couldn't just include some defaults for Sim
and Arcade is beyond me.

I just tried out your settings, Very nice! I couldn't feel the movement of
the car over that constant rumbling of the wheel in the default setting, now
I can feel the car moving about on it's suspension much better. Thanks.

Glad I could help.  I've acutally got the stick volume on 100 now, with no
ill effects.

Thanks for the tip, I was trying the demo and the constant rumble that I thought
was from the road I guess was from the engine FF setting. Now It feels smooth
and much better.
