NFS:PU - FF & Menu graphics

Just got a new computer (AMD XP 1800/Geforce3-ti 500/W98se) and installed
NFS:PU.

It doesn't matter much but the text in the menus looks bad, like it's very

Also (and this does matter) I've lost Road Grip FF (ActLabs Force-RS) in
NFS:PU. Still feel collision effect and road effects.  Have the FF sliders

Directx 8.0 installed, I'm d-loading 8.1.  Any suggestions?

Couldn't tell you about the FF, but I too had the bad text look with the
menus. The rest of the game locked great, but the text was messy. I went to
the 27.20 drivers and it was better but still not great. I just got use to
it.

Set Anisotropic levels to normal, ie. use only bi/trilinear filtering.
