For NFS I don't know but, on F1-2001 and Nascar 2002, processor is going to
be a BIG problem. Calculating the physics, AI, and so on for a lot of cars
requires a lot of processor power, not graphical power (with you can always
tweak to lower the resolution), but this is not true for the rest.
Only a new video board is not going to be enough. I would say a bare minimum
for a good racing experience would be at least a PIII-1G.
For the video board, I would suggest a GeForce2 Ti/450 or a GeForce4 MX420
that will cost about U$ 100.
