They are very good 2D cards, and you'll likely not notice a difference
between them and a Mystique or ET6000 card.  The Hercules Thriller3D is
currently the best, and is priced at about $130 for the 4MB version.  I
haven't tested SODA, but it should be faster.

I recently bought the Hercules Thriller3D (8Mb) and I am generally
happy with it.  I don't really have anything to compare it to though.
Here is my question.  Given a game (any game) that supports both
rendition and 3dfx, how would the Thriller3D compare to the latest
3dfx video card?
BTW what is considered the best 3dfx card on the market right now?
