Hi,
The tracks have not been leaked, but are simply in the process of being
beta tested by a group of testers for Dave Noonan...
The only way we could test them was to race them on-line through the
VROC data base, and that is what we have been doing...
Cheers,
Ron

I couldn't get it to work with Netscape but they worked with IE.
Can't wait for them it should give gpl a breath of fresh air.

Thx, that worked

Still see no proof that they were leaked tracks though, just that some
tracks has indeed been converted from N2/99/3 and ICR2 to GPL, but that
has to be the worst kept secret for quite some time, actually it hasn't
been a secret at all since we all can DL a converter from "The Pits"
that will do a few of the tracks, so most people could figure out that
David Noonan ( and I guess others too) was at least working on some
more, which as you say is good news, but where's the leak .... :-)

It must be nice to know everything about everything , but in this case
your just blowing smoke.  I'm one of the testers for Bill and thats
excatly what we are doing testing. Nothing more nothing less.

I was talking about the possibility that some people have mastered the file
architecture and can convert any track (with a little time), other than
David.  Nothing more.

Wrong, here's what you have said in this thread so far

I still don't have a clue where you are going with this Frank, I really
don't, one of the beta testers even told you they where using VROC to
test some converted tracks, can't you just leave it at that ?

When the guys who are doing these tracks feel that they are ready, they
will be released to the public in some way, and no, I don't know how and
when.....

     You just my day !!!!!!!

I had heard from some of the beta testers that the converter didn't
work with ICR2 tracks. But after seeing the screen shot of Elkhart Lake,I
know now it's a reality. Worst case is that you have to converter the ICR2
tracks to N2,then to N3,then to GPL.

Goy,

On any given night on GSB/VROC Gary Hoorn,Alison Hine, and a few others
are testing the converter in private online tests. All the tracks to this
point have been ovals from Nas3 with the exception of a single road course;
Elkhart Lake. No one is willing to give any additonal information other than
only the oval converter is just about ready for release.
