Since GPL cannot display track records from the add-on tracks, you
might be interested to know that the new version (2.2) of GPL Replay
Analyser can, get it at http://www.racesimcentral.net/

It has a new feature called "Export Records" which generates a bunch of
HTML to display overall, track and car records that you can easily
upload to your home page. The only trick is, you must save a replay
from the race, practise or training session containing your hotlap.

Besides that, there are a bunch of other useful features for folks
looking to improve their laptimes.

Enjoy!

Unfortunately my version 2.2 does not show my wonderful new track records
for snetterton , as advertised, .. is it just my accursed bad luck coming
into play once again?..or is a higher than usual 'doh!!' factor?

Some questions:

You do have a replay in which the times are present? This is a
requirement.

And your player's name in this replay is the same as the one you
selected in the program?

Do you get records for other add-on tracks?

Cheers,

/Martin

Thanks Martin.... these are the tracks that show up in my 2.2
Atlanta
Brands Hatch
Bristol
Darlington
Dubai
Flatstead
Hickory
Homestead
Kyalami
Mexico City
Michigan
Monaco
Monza
Mosport
C***te
Nrburgring
Loudon
PhoenixHQ
Pikes Peak
Rouen
Silverstone
Spa-Francorchamps
Talladega
Texas
It doesnt show IMS and Sears point and the
osring...... all of these have times on the track, and can be selected from
the 'find a lap' menu..so it  shows the tracks as being there..but not when
it exports the records .... it only finds the above tracks..some like Texas
are undriven but still show up..

Should i have just installed 2.2 over the top of 1.9?
                     thnks again...       jv

Where did this one come from? Is it Homestead without banking? How was
it created?

We're going back in Time now.. to  when snetterton was but a twinkle in the
eye of yon track editor types..  I'm sure you are right it's a flat
homestead.. I seem to remember it surfaced around the same time as Dubai ,
but before brands, but my memory being what it is..
thats all she wrote!
                              so sorry can't remember...
who but a flat oval fanatic would drive on it!

OK, Lap Finder lists all the dirs found in the /track directory.

But the record exporter reads the 67season.ini and shows all these
tracks even if you haven't set a time on them.

So it seems as if osring/IMS/Sears doesn't have an entry in
67season.ini. If it isn't, you shouldn't be able to choose the track
from within GPL either, can you?

Cheers,

/Martin
