GPL Track Designers - Lakeside??

Something ive always been curious about is howcome nobody has made the
Lakeside track for GPL? Its my local track, thats unfortunatly closed now
but, i have done billions of laps around there and would be well suited to
GPL... it was one of the tracks used in the tasman series.

Is that the track that's just off the Bruce Highway?  Why don't they use it
any more?

Yeah, thats the track. They closed it down because they went broke partly,
but also because people were complaining about the noise, even if the track
has been there since before 1967 and they built near it... bit like surfers
paradise. its a pitty because now we have no other track to test at up here
except QLD Raceway which is 4 straights, 2 hairpins and and 4 booring
90degree corners. its a big u shape...
