GPL with 768mb Memory?

by Brian McLerno » Wed, 12 Sep 2001 06:42:58

Hi all,
Is anyone running GPL with more than 512 mb memory?  I recently added a
third stick of PC133 256mb, bringing my total to 768mb.  Did some memory
tweaks to get all my other sims to run and they all work fine except GPL.
It loads OK, but when I go to race a track, it says: "Could not initialize
the replay system" and cancels the weekend.  Would reinstalling GPL fix it?
Or is there some GPL setting that
needs to be changed?
My specs are:

Windows 98SE
AMD Athlom 1.2 GB
768MB SDRam PC133
Asus A7A266 DDR/SDR mobo
Asus AGP V7100 64MB Pro T
SB Live Value 5.1
40 & 20 GB IBM HDs
DirectX 8.0

  Thanks!

Add this to the core.ini file in your GPL map:

[ Replay ]
replayMemoryOverride = 64000

You da man!!!  I found a copy of core.ini in some GPL utilities folder I
