Yes, although Win98 itself has a problem with more than 512Mb. There is a
way round it though.
What problems are you having?
Malc.
"Could not initialize the replay system."
and
"Canceling the weekend."
I can view well any replay lap stored in my drive.
Whats up?

If it works now you know what the problem is, there's two ways to fix
this, one is the more professional way and add a line to to your win.ini
limiting something by setting it something, I'm sure someone will fill
you in on that if needed, or you can run "msconfig" and set the memory
limit as and when needed, sorry I can't remember the other solution

Using msconfig every time I play gpl is a pain in the...
Limiting the memory in some windows config file I can kiss goodbye 128mb. It
would be good to do this inside a gpl config file.
thanks

Just add
[ Replay ]
replayMemoryOverride = 64000
to your core.ini file. You may want to increase the replay size if you race
in long races. I have never had a replay that didn't fit in 64Mb though.

I think you have to add something like this to your core.ini:
[ REPLAY ]
replayMemoryOverride = 128000
By any chance, do you know if it is possible to increase these 16 bit
resources of
windows Millennium;
system resources, user resources, GDI resources
by any patch? I am always in the red.

Yup, thought so...9x would be complaining big time about having to keep
track of that much memory. It works but it works better with half that
much.
