Isnt there 2 versions of this game? F1 2001 and then there's a champioship
version. Which version is better/newer?

F1-2001 is the latest and greatest. I don't have the box handy but I'm
almost sure that the championship version you're referring to is
actually F1 Championship 2000.

That's F1 2000 and F1 2000 Championship season, a newer and  improved
version of the former.

F1 2001 is newer and better than those two games. BTW they're all published
by EA Sports.
