If you do decide to get it,go over to TM's site and request springs for the
wheel right away that way if they do give out,you wont have to wait for
them.
Good idea since they replace them for free.
Excellent!
Doug.
I've been racin' for about a year with the GP1 wheel and generally been pretty
happy. Thrustmaster's support is excellent ( Thank's Alan! ) and the price
can't be beat, however...
...last night I happened across the TM Nascar Pro wheel at Circuit City
($129.95 US) and was impressed with the feel of the wheel and the clamping
system. My question is, to anyone with experience with this product, how do you
like it? Is it as prone to breaking throttle springs as the T2 seems to be?
TIA for the info!

This really starts to get annoying - EVERY time someone asks about a TM
wheel you hype the TSW2, and act like $100 more isn't that much money (when
it's TWICE the price you can get a TM Pro for). Wouldn't mind so much,
except you ALWAYS harp on having to replace this, that and the other on the
TM stuff. They send you the stuff for free and it seems easy to install,
although personally never had to do diddly with my year-old GP1 and my
NASCAR Pro has been solid. Sell YOUR product, leave the negative ads to the
politicians, and you'd make a much better impression, on me, anyways. This
comes across as just so much SPAM.
This isn't a knock on TSW stuff, it get's great reviews, but I have been
happy with TM stuff and feel it's great for the money. If money is no
object, go for the TSW.

EVERYBODY WE HAVE A TROLL ALERT AHEAD !!!
It's about time you learn a _little_ more about the SimRacing community Mr.
Henry.
Comparing a TSW to a Thrustmaster product is like saying that a Ferrari is
similar to a Forti and with ambitions and $ you could do the same and save
all the money Fiat gives to the Red team.
Of course, you are probably a TM user who doesn't say a word when you wheel
turn crap.
"Well I will just spend another 100$ on another wheel".
Made in Taiwan ? China ? hmm I don't recall Trevor living in Taiwan ;-P
Hand made those Thrustmaster wheel ? Naw...
100% Life-time Guaranty those Thrustmaster wheel have ? Not even in my

Sorry about that.
I just dont like their commercials after a post from Thrustmaster.
And personally,I've never had a problem with TM products.
Some people do and some people do not.
Please dont try to tell us that evry TSW product is perfect and that if I
buy one I'll never have to buy another product again.
It would be nice.
I e-mailed the company 2 months ago to see if I could get a copy of their
warranty and still have not heard from them.
Again I'm sorry but I would like to know if I'm about to get a commercial
from TSW when I read about TM.

Glad to hear it :).
TSWs may not be perfect but you will never need another wheel ever if
you do buy one, you cannot wear one out. Apart from pot failure nothing
ever breaks.
There is no "copy of the warranty" it is plainly stated on our website
and widely known that you get a 100% lifetime warranty, we repair
anything that ever fails, no matter what or how.
If you get mad at your wife and throw your unit out the window we still
fix it free, no conditions and no questions asked ever.
You very well may but it wont be me you get it from.
