TM Nascar Pro?

I just found the latest CGW in my mailbox, with this headline in the first few
pages ...

"Porsche 911 GT1
BMW M3 Panoz
Callaway Corvette

Are you hard yet?"

Thanks, *** Interactive, for this month's entirely stupid, juvenile
adverti***t!  Are y'all intentionally looking to***parents off?

Regards,

Kurt

My T2 still works fine and I use it as a backup to my TSW
if i should ever need it.

I have sent back my TM PRO so many times I said the
hell with it.  Its in the corner now with broken springs...

12 Springs in 6 months is crazy!!!!

What about the feel of a TSW 2 versus the Thrustmaster? Is it a lot
better Don or is the TSW 2 just more reliable?

Thanks,

Kerry Grant

CGW and the advertisers know their demographic, and it's not kids.
It's 18-35 year old guys. 11-15 year old kids aren't reading that
crap, and they don't want to spend 5 to 8 bucks on a magazine.

They'd rather spend it on a Marilyn Manson or ***z 'Wit Hat's CD,
and get some nice, wholesome entertainment.

Eliminating words like "hard" and references to guys getting killed in
car crashes 30 years ago won't change anything, nor is it even
remotely offensive when compared to something 10,000 times more
mainstream, like Beavis and Butthead (uh-huh-huh, he said hard) or
South Park.

If it offends you guys, don't read the magazine.
If you really want to save the world, consider setting your sites a
little higher than ad's video game magazines.

Well, I'm a different Don <g>, but since I went from a T2 to a TSW2, I can
tell you there is a huge difference, I used to think the T2 was pretty
smooth, especially after putting a new bungee in it, after having the TSW2,
I can tell you the T2 is nowhere near smooth. My T2 served me well for 2
years, I even only went through 2 sets of springs, but I was ready for a
step up, and for the price difference, the TSW2 was a huge step up.

My TM wheel was handmade...sorta.

I hear that people have trouble getting parts for the TM wheels but I never have
(okay I did once but I didn't even get my automatic confirmation email that
time.  I bet there was a server problem.)

about a month back I emailed them requesting parts for a complete overhaul (new
springs, a new bungee, various other parts and some screws), as well as a
steering pot.  I got a personal email from them the next day stating that the
parts would be send 2 day air mail, and sure enough 3 days later I got the parts
(it took a day to process the order, and they said so in the email.)  One
problem...no pot.  I emailed them last week when it got too bad to drive at all
telling them that I got everything but the pot.  Got the pot last night :)

Just me I guess...
