I wonder if this is a possibility.

-Have any of you noticed that a LOT of this year's NASCAR entries
have HASBRO sponsorship on the front quarter panels.

-NK.....

They mention Adam Levesque as founder of a company named Blue Fang
Games. Wasn't he working for Papyrus at one point? The name sounds very
familiar.

All else being equal, the 16 bit paintshop in from Viper alone would
make it a better product than the Papy offering.

Didn't I said  "RIP Papyrus" the past two years yet they still exist? :)

Papyrus will be releasing their second title using the GPL Game engine this
year.  Isn't that enough?  We know the potential of it.  Be sure that
somewhere along the road will be a non-stockcar Papyrus title.

He most certainly _WAS_ involved with Papyrus.  Fire up ICR1 or Nacar and
have a look at the credits.

As Mr. Mark Twain (or was it Will Rogers?) said many decades past, "Rumours
of my death are greatly exaggerated"!

Don't write Papyrus off so quickly.

No, about what may be the first NASCAR *sim*. I'm tired of playing

I don't care what kind of sim it will be as long as it's realistic. I'm
sure if a realistic NASCAR Sim came out you would buy it, Bruce. After
all Racing is Racing.
It would be amazing if Trans-Am, World Sports Cars, GP3(If there is
Multiplayer), N4/Nascar Heat, DTR 2 were all true handling ***
sim's along with GPL(w/Indy) then we could find out who the Mario
Andretti, AJ Foyt and Dan Gurney of Sim racing will be. ;) That would be
one super League if it included all those sim's in 1 season. The winner
of that league would be the undisputed Online Racing champ of the
world.

Well, for your sake, Tracey, I just hope that who-so-ever is developing it
has absolutely no connection to that other recent wonderful  "sim" from
Hasbro, "Spirit of Speed"!! :-)
