GP2 Problem

by Le » Sun, 03 Nov 1996 04:00:00

Today I was doing some house keeping on the hard drive where GP2
lives. After checking the surface, I defraged the disk. Now GP2 will
not run. OK, I assume a bit got dropped someplace in the defrag
process so I reload GP2. It runs OK.

But wait, there's more!

A couple hours latter I tried to run GP2 and it's broke, again! The
bottom line is that I have to run the setup.exe and select the sound
card then GP2 run's---once.

After discovering this, I tried running the program with the nosound
option, but it still would not run. I also tried the log:safe option
but nothing was written to the log file.

BTW, all I get is a flashing cursor under the command line and it's
reboot time.

System:    486DX4 120
                            SB16
Cirrus Logic Video card

Does anybody have any ideas?

Do you have a good virus checker?
