GP2 problems

My GP2 install program doesn't work right. I have to create
all of the directories myself because the install program
can't do that. I think that, no matter what type of install
I do, it thinks that I have done a minimum installation.
I have done a normal installation (40 meg), but it seems
that most of the things are still read off the CD. I copied
over some new***pits and cars but they won't work. Can
anyone tell me why or help me? I wrote Microprose tech
support about a month ago but havn't gotten a reply yet.

I had problems trying to install the game as well.  I am using windows
95 and it would just stop installing and lock up the comp.  I was
finally able to get the min. version up after about an hour of trying.

I have been able to get the 96 carset up but that took a couple of tries
as well.  Try installing strait from the cd a few more times with the 9
meg version.  If that doesn't work write to microprose a few more times
to make sure they know about your situation.
